About Maria:
Maria practices holistic health care in Canada and in the United States.  In addition to private practice, she volunteers at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare (ENH) Hospice Program and remains active as a registered nurse.  Not only has she expanded her healing work to include Reiki [Usui] energy healing, foot reflexology and ear candling, Maria has provided medical supportive care in ambulatory outpatient settings, hospice care, and pediatric work in local schools, homes and extended care centers with an emphasis on children with intellectual and physical disabilities.  She has also conducted eight-week training sessions in meditation and related relaxation techniques for both patients and healthcare providers. In 2003, Maria completed the Holistic Health Certification Program at Seneca College in Toronto, Canada.
