Ayurvedic Treatments & Services
Consultations (usually done as a series of three session)
Initial Consultations (1 to 2 hours)
We meet and take a complete survey of your health, history, and a comprehensive
questionnaire is completed to access your metabolic body-type ( dosha or Prakruti)
and your imbalances at this time (Vikruti). Our Ayurvedic tradition utilizes
a 48-point, 7 level pulse diagnosis analyzing Dosha location and action, organ
and tissue health, and the balance of body and emotions. An individualized
Health Plan is written up for you including diet and lifestyle recommendations.
You receive a personal abayangha massage formula with essential oils is created
for you, as well as a custom herbal formula to meet your wellness needs.
Follow-up Consultations (45 minutes - 1 hour)
An assessment is made of how the previous week's therapies have balanced your
Vikruti, and brought you back into harmony of your Prakruti. Therapies are
fine-tuned, continued, and you are educated on how to best balance your diet
and lifestyle per your dosha or body type. The next level of health needs may
be addressed. Life Purpose or dharma issues are also discussed.
Panchkarma (51/2 - 6 hours per day
for 3, 5, 7 or 10 days)
Panchakarma means “5 actions”, and is a comprehensive and
sophisticated system of purification and rejuvenation in Ayurveda. It
serves to cleanse,
detoxify and revitalize the organs and body functions. These luxurious treatments
were originally developed for the royal families of India. Traditional treatment
consists of light diet or fasting, herbal medicines, Ayurvedic massage, medicated
oil therapy, colon cleansing program, steam, sauna, yoga and other Ayurvedic
treatments.
