About Barbara:
Barbara uses all aspects of Chinese medicine to treat the full range of health imbalances - acute and chronic, traumatic, infectious and internally generated. She specializes in women’s health (menstruation challenges, fertility support and menopause). Examples of other imbalances include musculoskeletal problems (pain, immobility, acute sprains/strains, post-stroke rehabilitation), gastrointestinal problems (nausea, GERD, constipation), respiratory problems (asthma, allergies, sore throat, colds and flu) and many other imbalances that affect the quality of life (insomnia, fatigue, irritability, acne and many others). She works together with her clients to incorporate lifestyle changes that will re-establish balance and harmony within the body, including nutrition and exercise.

Barbara is a licensed acupuncturist with a graduate degree in Oriental Medicine. She received her training at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine and completed advanced coursework at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou, China. She is nationally certified by the NCCAOM, and a member of the Illinois State Acupuncture Association and the American Association of Oriental Medicine.
